The formation and outflow of lymph from the intercellular space are subordinated to the forces of hydrostatic and oncotic pressure and occur rhythmically. Even after filtering the plasma in the blood capillaries, this fluid enters the intercellular space. Here, its electrolytes are partly associated with colloidal and fibrous structures, and partly form an aqueous phase. So the tissue fluid is formed, some of which is reabsorbed back into the blood, and some enter the lymphatic capillaries, forming lymph.
But even after such a powerful filtering, some of the substances, especially small ones, still fall into the circulatory system. And the pigment particles for tattoos have a size of 50-350 nanometers. They are smaller than the most invisible dust. And now they freely travel around the body for a long time.

What was the need for this information? To the fact that even the principle of "life" of the pigment in the human body is understandable, it has not been completely investigated at all. Yes, seriously, tattoos have long ceased to be something strange, but studies that can be trusted still do not.
I can tell only about one not very large version of the information gathering. As is known, the connection between the fetus and the mother occurs through the placenta. But it also does not allow to protect against all negative influences.
A group of scientists created a sample of women who, being pregnant, already had some tattoos on their bodies. The main question to these women was approximately the following: whether tattooing affected the development of the fetus, childbirth and the lactation period. The absolute majority did not confirm the harmful effects during these periods. However, doctors based exclusively on the words of women and didn't conduct clinical studies. So it is hardly possible to rely on such research.
What of all this follows?

No, women during pregnancy and lactation can't be clients. I can't be sure of the opposite, until they pass a sufficiently complete research refutation.

If during pregnancy or lactation omething bad happenswith the baby, there will be complications, then your patient may well associate it with the procedure.
Why it is fraught to you? You simply can not prove your innocence, because you don't have anything to rely on while defending.
I must say that most women themselves, when they learn about the risks, abandon the idea of removal during pregnancy. An indisputable argument is that the health of a child is much more valuable than a few more months of resembling bored tattoos.
So, explain to clients all the risks honestly - save yourself, and them!
